Second Day of Classes!!

It was another fun day of learning Math and Hungarian with Emese. After class some of our intrepid scholars explored the Buda Castle and the Budapest History Museum. Others opted to meld minds and work on homework problems. Hungarian class resulted in our dedicated learners practicing their Hungarian numbers and greetings.

For lunch we dispersed through the city trying local eateries. Notable encounters include kebabs, octopus on a stick, and McDonald's. After class some students tried chimney cakes, while others sought out delectable juice; one particularly ambitious band of travelers even quested after the delicious juice of history, held among the towering spires all over the castle district on the Buda side of the Danube River.

They found holy churches, fishy bastions, and, most remarkable of all, old pottery. The Budapest history museum is conveniently housed within the Buda castle, a building with a particularly storied past.

However, castles aren't the only purported strongholds of knowledge; alas, studying in a local library proved to be a wasted gambit as the local Uni students were grinding for their lives for finals. Instead our merry band of unlikely theorists went back to their cozy lodging to converse and dictate number theory. Tonight was another professor and student dinner enjoyed by four lucky individuals. Many a dessert were to be had by our students. The journey has just begun, and will only get better.
