T-1 Day Until Midterm EVERYONE START PANICKING DO YOU EVEN KNOW WHAT INDUCTION IS

Hello young lovers! Today (1/16/25), it was a solid 35 degrees Fahrenheit (or 2 Celsius if you're weird/European—same difference, amiright guys😆) and consistently cloudy. T-1 day until our midterm, and we are shaking in our boots! Well, one of us is actually more likely hopping in his boot rather than shaking. Our very own Alex Kelly (aka Pretty Alex) suffered a torn ligament in his ankle region last night and has been since rendered unable to participate in today's massive winner-take-all double-or-nothing last-stand final grand slam foot race. Oh no! Not to worry, he can hop like nobody's business!

Song Of The Day

Fight Song- Rachel Platten

To supplement the lack of events/pictures from today, we have elected to add in fun activities for our dear readers' enjoyment.

Crossword- Today's Theme- Less Buda More Pest

(answer key at the bottom of the page!)

Today started off with a guest lecture by the lovely Anna about Hungarian history and politics.

"If I were prime minister, I would make chimney cakes free for everyone! Did someone say brain food!?!?!" -Benji Luke Viktor Orbán Zupfer

hello future prime minister!

To help lift our fallen comrade's spirits, we created and all signed a little "get well soon" card.

After the lecture, we were free to go about our studying and prep for the upcoming midterm. Sam and Berit set off on a journey to collect fun snacks and Alex's favorite cafe sandwich, finding some fabulous new convenience stores to revisit for our daily lunch break trips in the future.

This is where we, as the kids say, locked in. Lots of theorems to commit to memory and only so much time! No pictures from this time, focus was of the essence.

Daily Horoscope

The gang rallied for dinner at Bella Pasta and dove into some noodles and tiramisu.

post-dinner/dessert chimney cake!

After dinner, we headed to the rave that is Berliner's office hours. Szimpla Kert who!? So many students, so many oranges consumed (at least 9, or 1 (mod 4) for all you number theorists out there).

Riddles!
(answers at the bottom of the page)

How do you drop an egg on a concrete floor and not make it crack?

I add 5 to 9 and get 2. The answer is correct, what am I?

And with that, we wish you all a good night snug in your beds and visions of the division algorithm dancing around your heads. Manifesting is key, ladies!

Love,
Berit, Sam, and Alex
