Double Math Day? How Exciting? (1/14)
January 14th started out bright and early for a small portion of the class. Seven students (and our fearless leader Kathy) climbed the nearby Gellért Hill to watch the sunrise over the Danube River. While construction prevented us from hiking all the way to the Liberty Statue on top of the hill, we still enjoyed a beautiful view as we watched the sun rise. After our return to the hotel, we enjoyed another delicious breakfast before heading to school. (Many agreed that the roasted potatoes were the highlight of this particular meal)
Today was our first double math day, consisting of math right away in the morning
followed by a second math class after our lunch break. Lunch today was congruent with our lunch yesterday, meaning they were the same (mod sandwich). Both classes were fueled by pure caffeinenated brain power so that our base was consistent in both lectures. Factoring out one energy drink every day has been shown to increase our capacity for mathematical knowledge among both classes successfully.
After working on some homework, it was dinner time! Roxanne and Emily J went to a mexican restaurant; Natalie went to grab some pho with Jasmine, Sydney, and Sonja. Emily and Grace had dinner at the hotel. It was then office hour time where some tears were shed and sanity was questioned. Very chill-- we love double math days.
Signing off- this is Natalie, Roxanne, Emily N, and Grace!
SNAIL!!!!!
(you just got snailed)
